Well hello there chaps, good news My Nan is well and back at home,
looking better than she has for a while, my mum is also a1 again. just
my old man is still in hospital but he seems to be recovering.
Got a large 3.5 kilo tin of filler through work today so i'll be
going back in the garage filling again

got to sort the locking of the flip front so i can fit the arches..

popped in the garage tonight, sprayed the rear arches with black paint
ready to flat off to see high low points, looks ok in black in 2 minds whether
to spray it black and put it on the road .
Also fitted the front end ready to set up the locking pins and then to
fit up the arches.....

Maybe with an addition of a white "hotrod" stripe on the sides with Black pin striping

Been out this afto, fitted an extra gas strut to the front end, took off
the 200NM strut and replaced with two 150NM ones



bonnet can now be held in mid lowered position, when nearly closed
the struts start to pull the bonnet shut.



also made some brackets to fit on the glass front to enable it to be
securely fixed



fitted a flange to the subframe brace bars



when closed they are bolted together for now, may use a spring mounted 'R' clip
and pin arrangement later..

today also finished off the brake lines, so now we have
brakes and clutch sorted..

i luv the side exit exhaust,looks mint,dunno bout the flat front tho
