How are you going to demist your windscreen?

i haven't removed the de-mister vents, i may try and source either a later heated screen
or some heater element to fit on the screen.

I've borrowed a mask like that too freddy (looks like the I'm gonna win the race!!!)

My paint differs from your slightly but only when adding thinners,.. i add 20% rather than 10%... but i think it's down to the sprayer too... the rest is the same.. 2paint:1hardener.... are you using straight gloss or base and lacquer?

Bloody hell you don't mess about! I might be a little worried about heat near that filler? might be an idea to put an aluminum shield around the area.. :ermm:

may put a heat sheild round the outlets ,ie a piece of oval ally sheet

i recon you should just put a small lip around the hole instead of a plate mite look nice

I have got a spray gun but it isn't an HVLP gun, Hvlp's use less pressure but
a higher volume of paint, lower pressure reduces the overspray.

It's not just over spray HVLP reduces but wasted spray going into the atmosphere.
