originally there were gussets there but i had to remove them when replacing the wheel arches,
had some large holes when removed so i needed to either plate over or fit new gussets, the gussets
were originally in the boot area, i think to give extra support to the shock mounts/ wheel arch, still
got to fit some in the boot.

Just looking at your exhaust tunnel, have you considered making a full second cross member opposed to just the exhaust box? Asin all the way across the car? would give another mounting point for the back of your seats?

the exhaust box is not level , its lower at the tunnel than the outside and dosn't
sit square either.may be only drivers seat in when finished and the battery
will be mounted behind that so there won't be any room. deffo no rear seats...

Might be worth you drilling a hole in your gussets so you can spray waxyoil into them!

went out yesterday and cleaned out the min then dressed off the welds
and red oxided the floor.. also in with a load of spares I was given, I found a nearly
new Minispares 2 core Radiator  had a look at it and found it was in
very good condition apart from some of the fins on the core being bent, so
I spent about '2' hours with 2 small screwdrivers straightening them out :-
Just got to gently blow it out and give it a coatv of paint and it will be as good as new..

Got a new toy today, my mate had a compressor in his garage, he only used it
to blow up his tyres, so i asked him if he wanted to swap it for a small portable
compressor, he said he would so i picked it up today, needs a bit of clean, and
it's bl**dy heavy

similar to the one I had

Is there any real benefit to running the lines on the inside?

Ae your passengers not just going to end up mashing them to death now?

Just wondering because I've been thinking whether or not to do mine.

what passengers !!!!!!!!! only 1 seat!!

two reasons 1, car will be running low so moved to prevent damage
2, running inside goes with the theme of the car
