the ones on now are red , was thinking about Yellow !

Eventfull day today......... Went out to increase the rear ride height of the mini, well decided to do the awquard side first , so
I started on the o/s . The adjuster threads had seazed so I had to use a blow torch to free it . Luckily the n/s wasn't seazed, but
it took 2 hrs to do both sides , I lengthened the adjusters by 3mm to try and stop the radius arm bottoming out.
Then I started on the front , did the n/s then went to do the o/s and found the upper swivel needed re-shimming.
I increased the adjusters by 2mm on the front.
After I finished I gave him a wash down for tomorrow and MITP.......

As some of you may Know Ratty was hit up the arse by a Saxo driving toss pot...
subsiquently endng up being an insurance repair...

I have decided to continue this thread now

Today Ratty Had a coat of primer to give a solid base for the colour , this evening he had his colour coat but the
painter thought it looked a bit translusent in places so we decided to give another coat, I must say that the finish
is very nice , colour is yet to be desclosed , all I will say is that the roof is Satin black, tomorrow we will be painting
the front end as we couldn't get this safely in the booth with the rest of the panels and NEW external door hinges.

well booth still not working so front end is still not painted :-( , The colour is covered by the official secrets act !!!

Will be desclosed when the mini is back together.......... but it looks NIIIIIIIIIIIIICE !! IMO

i'm sure you being all subtle and all carl, it will blend in to the rest of the scenery
I can take an educated guess as to the colour

The missus and my eldest lad said not to do it the colour I have...... they don't even know !!!!

They'll find out when I pull on the drive .. !!!!!!! lol ..... wish me luck..

Update...... boots fitted, rear lights fitted and re-wired , new boot light LED's fitted and wired . door seals fitted , doors re-fitted ,had to alter the hinge positions slightly as I have fitted brand new hinges ( bit of a
pain job) .Front end has finally been painted ,

Things left to do ,need to re-fit the front to the shell then fit the head lights and indicators and re-wire them . then seats in, harnesses , windows and winders, front /rear windows with new rubbers , quarter glass ,
exhaust back on with new cotton reels fit door cards , new number plates

Not a lot , just time..

Well finished work at 12.30 , managed to fit the front end
Back on , work left ... Fit front / rear windows , quarter
Windows , exhaust , headlights and Indicators ( fit & wire),
Seats and seatbelts , wiper , number plates. Today I received
The new front and rear window rubbers, exhaust cotton reel
mountings and the new number plates



nice....

hopefully he might be home on Tuesday evening , if I have a holiday on Tuesday
and go in work to finish him...

I get a feeling it will be luminous green or yellow. I remember you saying ages ago in this thread you wanted it something along those lines. Time will tell I guess ha.
