played with a Proton Satria sport on the way home, pulled away from me on the straight
bit of the A50 , but up his arse on the roundabout , I had to shut off to prevent hitting him
I love my Mini.......... Vrrrooooom

well we made it to Bingley.

i was in the car park and saw you flying up the road lol love the sound of ratty!!!

sounded better with the old engine fitted with the 286 cam , lovely and lumpy.

Ratty now has two new front tyres fitted (well,part worn ) , the other ones
were well worn. got them swapped over for a tenner, Bargain.... all four
tyres are now matching......

Chatting with james yesterday, he says you have to go vauxhall as he wants the honda corner, and i have the rover end.
I have a spare honda B16 and running gear if you're interested mate.

I went out last night with some local Mini lads, we went for a raz round the country lanes,
I noticed I kept loosing my brakes slightly and steering was getting heavy on rh bends,
when we got back to the carpark I noticed a grinding noise when pulling in . I checked the
N/S wheel and it had a bit of play!! only changed the bearing a couple of weeks ago.
So I took the wheel off, the hub nut had cut through the split pin and had unwound itself
to the end of the thread!! the wheel had been moving that much that the disc had been
rubbing against the brake caliper so it's slightly scored. dread to think I could have lost
the wheel ...... Can't beleive I didn't feel the wheel wobbling while driving it, couldn't hear
anything as the exhaust is that loud .. Well sorted now and a new split pin fitted...
Need two tapered bearing washers as these are worn .... they should supply these in the bearing
kits.....
