Ratty's first birthday since and being put back on the road..... Second MOT tomorrow , adjusted the rear brakes
and got the o/s front side light working (which packed up just after the first MOT) LOL....

got to work Friday morning and decided to just tweak the idle speed as Ratty's idle
was pretty irratic. when I opened the bonnet I found the top ally rad mount I
made had snapped across the thermostat mounting flanges. So before I started
work I had to make another bracket this time out of steel.
Well took Ratty for the MOT and he passed with no problems.
I received my replacement speed sensor from Acewell this morning
(Sat) so I replaced the old one, noticed when stripped that the magnet
(which creates the pulse) was missing, obviously why it wasn't working.
Well the speedo is working a ok now..

youll have to find a titanium rad mount you cant stick with a normal steel one freedy! your too good for that!

OMG.... on the way back from Coalville touched 100.4mph in Ratty.... ps On the Autobahn....

Ratty's clutch release bearing is knackered, Look on ebay and they are around £15 + p&p
popped into a local bearing suppliers to see if they carried them, typical ' not in stock , but
I can get one for Monday' but at £25 he can go and coco. So I thought I may aswell give
MED a try, well yipee I got one and only £10.... Good old MED.....

so just got to fit it now LOL...

Yo stranger, will you be at the Midland tomorrow night? I think they are having a run to Swithland to the Griffin pub. I'll be going along as I've not been for ages, and James is also going.

well I have now fitted a new clutch release bearing and sorted out the wheel bearing,
so all good for MITP.......

Sold my 1.5deg bottom arms on ebay for £20 so will be investing in a pair of 2deg arms
or h/d adjustable ones...

May wait till MITP to see what I see there, the ones I have on now are a BIT extreme LOL

Finally saw this at MITP on the forum stand, fantastic looking car in the flesh. Mirror smooth paint all over, you can see the hours that have gone into this thing.

I was gonna say hello, but you must have been off having a wander, there weren't many people around the club stand...

Did it see the strip in the end??

damn! i was walking round the normal car park looking for this... didnt think to look in the club stands...

by the way my mini was the one with the most mud and ******* all over it... lol
