welded up o/s rear wheel arch extention piece
quarter panel repair cut and welded in new panel
dressed down and painted with primer
small repair at rear of arch left to do then i've
got to trim off excess arch extention piece.

Have you tubbed the arches?
Also, quick question, what is it your using to clean + cut your steel? just looks perfect!

off. tools used 41/2'' angle grinder with either a sanding pad on or slitting disc
also using aviation snips, small metal shears and a jigsaw ( not a puzzle)
still got to fit the rear valance, sort out the closing panel where the rear bins were,
fit the 'A' panels and a few odds and sods , oh nearly forgot de-seam corners.
I was also thinking about dropping the rear of the roof and sloping back
the front window , a bit like they've done with the Range Rover sport.

started de-seaming, cut seam off
every 4''
and welded
helped a mate with his MG midget yesterday
gave me these for helping
11/2'' ready for the 1380 motor
just got to find a linkage and a manifold.
