My car broke a little bit after following you, the bolt in the middle of the cone filter snapped and went into the carb holding the butterfly open, wasn't far from being sucked in to the engine
had to strip the carb at the side of the motorway

on the way there or back...???

on the way back.. we were in the mini with the orange grill.. right behind you (for a little bit)

thought you'd pulled off at the Derby turn. I couldn't see out my door windows mirrors very
well due to the road salt
If i'd seen you pull over I would have stopped.. Did that on the way there

Could you tell me if Ratty crabs as I've never been behind to notice...

I backed off when you started racing with that cooper to take it easy on fuel, and my headache
you were a long way off by the time it happened

I never noticed that ratty crabs, if he does then it isn't a lot
was ehind a few minis in the way there that crabbed loads

cheers wasn't sure whether he did, I'm surprised due to the amount of work i've done
ie floor, heel board etc..

Saw the Rat mobile today at Bingley. Nice!!! There were a lot of nice motors there and certainly given my son and me some inspiration for Project Erm.

A thoroughly good day out even with a dose of the white stuff falling there.

cheers wasn't I around?? apperently my fellow club members said there were
a lot of people looking at him.. No calls from prospective buyers though..

We did see a few people around ratty but all were casual lookers although there was a few other people looking at the two minis that suffered quite a severe fender bender and by the looks of it they had ran into each other at speed. Lots of bent panels not a good sight but no one hurt apart from pride maybe.

Why sell him he's different and by the looks of him you have spent a lot of time and wedge on him????? That's a lot of deseaming you have done there.

i could more or less watch my fuel gauge going down when i started to boot it after you, had about an inch of travel left in the pedal though. just dont like the noise she makes at that speed (dirty minds leave now)

i must say tho, ratty has some power behind him. surely not a 1275?

Yep a 30 yr old 1275 as well, still going strong speedos packedup and the tacho only reads up to 3000

I'd like to know what speed I was doing in front of that cooper !!
wasn't pulling like he normally does as i've weakened the mixture a tad too much ..

he got there and back on less than a tankfull..

i started to back off when my speedo said 90, not sure how correct it is tho. obviously this was on a private part of that road where we had permission
that guy was in an mpi? being a later mini i thought it might be

i still want to make mine a bit quicker but i think its more that i wont go quicker, as i dont really trust it untill i get new suspention etc

but you still pulled away pretty sharpish when i was following you from those roundabouts (that the private land owner created )

I went round a local one yesterday and went light headed as I came off....

i urge you to not get rid of him, i think youll regret it loads. but i guess the way he holds the road like that really shows how much he is worth, let the people who are looking to buy just follow you for a bit. theyll be convinced in seconds
