well yesterday i fitted the Triumph spitfire track rod ends, the thread is about
15mm longer than the mini ones, so there will be ample adjustment if I fit 2 deg bottom
arms.. on the down side though, the motor has started playing up when starting
seems to be missing, but clears up when ran for a bit, got to check the compression
to see if a cylinder is down, possibly the head gasket AGAIN.... Need to get the
PAYEN AF470 one..
Might build up my spare A+ 1275 but I need to get a dizzy for it first as Ratty runs
an 1970's A series...

Alltogether I got £140 off Ebay for a lot of bits I didn't want
So I've ordered Ratty some new silicon HT leads , turbo (blue)
rotor arm, new Dizzy cap from Mini spares, and got it with TMF+
discount and at 15% vat offer,. Also lookig at getting a later type
clutch master cylinder off ebay (new old stock) as I think the new
comp diaphram is causing the current m/cylinder to loose pressure,

Got my new wheel centers off Roofless they are superb



While at the show I got some red pedal rubbers and a new clutch
master cylinder for £32 , bargain



On Saturday I fitted the exhaust reducer, which has quietened Ratty a little, actually sounds
a bit sweeter now . Heres a picture off what it was like, just fitted inbetween the silencers..

My car broke a little bit after following you, the bolt in the middle of the cone filter snapped and went into the carb holding the butterfly open, wasn't far from being sucked in to the engine
had to strip the carb at the side of the motorway

Saw the Rat mobile today at Bingley. Nice!!! There were a lot of nice motors there and certainly given my son and me some inspiration for Project Erm.

A thoroughly good day out even with a dose of the white stuff falling there.

thought you'd pulled off at the Derby turn. I couldn't see out my door windows mirrors very
well due to the road salt
If i'd seen you pull over I would have stopped.. Did that on the way there

Could you tell me if Ratty crabs as I've never been behind to notice...

I backed off when you started racing with that cooper to take it easy on fuel, and my headache
you were a long way off by the time it happened

I never noticed that ratty crabs, if he does then it isn't a lot
was ehind a few minis in the way there that crabbed loads
