(1275sprite) to borrow his flywheel puller , thanks alot mate. fitted
engine in the car.took the subframe brace off and there was plenty
of room to work...
there is a lot more pressure on the pedal now due to the
Orange pressure plate

really low ( just off the floor), wanted it to bite a bit higher,
Had a play with the throw out stop nuts on the fulcrum
arm shaft, I found that by backing off the nut by about
1/2-3/4 of a shoulder this gave me a higher biting point.
much comfier feel , If I turned the nut on a further
shoulder then the gears wouldn't engage cleanly...
ps, it was set up to the haynes manual..

How does the Orange spring feel in comparison to the original Spring?
slightly stiffer and sharper on the release, engages drive a lot quicker so can be a bit
jerky sometimes..

Great project i have a big question...... that photo of the clutch housing your using a quick release mount, what your opinion? how many miles have you done? whats the wear rate like?

fitted the Tacho this afternoon ( had a free hour ), just took a
quick picture with the phone, but not very good LOL, fitted to the
shelf until I have made a brkt so I can fit it next to the interior mirror..

Really lovely car, I might have considered selling mine and putting in an offer but i would NEVER be able to do a car like that justice, I'd ruin it..
