Grill looks good. Can't wait to see if fitted.

Decided to temporarily fit the grill tonight, couldn't wait for the grill
buttons to arrive , think it looks pretty good being as it's home
made .Also had to tighten up the alternator belt as it had started to
squeal now and again....





Just need to paint the bonnet brkts black to hide them...

Hope to fit the refurbed rear drums this weekend and may also
look at making and fitting the temporary door cards..

fitted the door cards today, i'll stick some pictures up tomorrow, also had a look at fitting
the rear brake drums, but there is quite a large ridge on the edge which needs grinding
off as it interferes with the drum fit up. too cold today to mess about so I re-fitted the
old drums...

I ordered my orange diaphram and turbo clutch plate from
Mini spares Yesterday should have been £61.56 but got
them for £56.95 with the TMF+ discount....

Thought i'd beeter get them before the VAT increase...

Don't like how Minispares add on carriage then put the VAT on
afterwards

Wonder how that style of grill would look on a standard mini?? I reeaally don't like mine, with the chunky end bits, and the chrome strip on the bonnet that never sits straight...

They have to do that mate as it's classed as providing a service under HMRC rules 'n regs
