Similar to the look I went for, only I put the grill on the inside of the opening:
one nice motor Graeme, grill looks good, The black handles I got off you are still doing
well . I do like that green you've used, If I do another it may be a colour similar
to that....

big , I seperated the ally mesh from the backing plate, then I cut the back plate
down (about an 1/2 inch all round. I re-bonded the mesh to the smaller back plate.
I used the card grill template to make a plywood former, I then got an off cut of
1.6 ally and screwed it to the former, then I marked about 15mm round the former
and cut the excess off, Then I used a forming paddle and knock the 15mm strip
over the edge off the ply, this forms a 90 deg edge around the former, When the
mesh has bonded onto the Back plate and been trimmed down ,the formed finisher
will be bonded onto the grill and trimmed when bonding is dry.
Hopefully should be ready for painting on Tuesday.

it in the garage, used Wurth satin black spray.
sprayed with primer
Satin black (Still wet)
Waiting for some black grill buttons from Minispares to arrive
I also gave the drums off AnalogueRadio another coat of red Hammerite
