Had a serious stomach bug over the weekend just
getting over it now, so nothing done really, typical now
i've got some gas to use
started to strip down the bulkhead though, someone has over filled
the clutch master cylinder and took all the paint off around it

Will have to start teaching myself how to weld now, really spurred me on to do the front end of my Cooper after seeing this!

woodwork in the bathroom), cleaned the lower part of the
engine bay bulkhead,welded a small repair plate at the bottom
then painted with chassis black, I think i'm going to spray
the lower bulkhead with stone chip first then spray with colour.

back in 1987/8 when i had my first
mini my mate had a mini with the
paint job done the same as in you
posting , I think it was Teal blue bottom
with Diamond white top half.
Going to do mine the same but have
the bottom Bright red.

and painted.
Sprayed the bulkhead toeboard with stone chip guard then painted
with red enamel paint
Cut back the wheel arch fold then welded to the extention piece
trimmed back the arch extention
Cut out rot on the quarter panel and patched up
cleaned up welds
painted welds
Finally getting some where
Just got to weld up the the o/s rear arch then I
can start sorting out the subframes, got to strip and
paint them, fit the discs etc to the front.

Now you've bout got it all solid and welded.. whats the final plan for style/theme/parts?
