the moany *illegitimate person*s from up the road sent me a letter threatening me that they were going to contact the police because i drive past there house and there son is apparently is terrified of my car its only an rc40 and i never exceed 30 on my own road arggg

I was digging up the front and loading the skip when a chap stopped and
commented on the joys of digging out for hardcore..
when I went in my missus said 'I see Dave stopped and chatted to you'
unknown to me he was the moaning neighbour,.... what a two faced B*****d.

Did a bit of repair work to the Rat today, When I got work on Tues had a funny
desire to check the rear lights , so I had a look and found I had only got
indicators and numderplate lights and no side or brake lights ..
At lunch time I decided to removed the lenses and found that both bulbs
had popped out the bulb holders, the holders are made out of a cheap soft
plastic and the bayonet pins had scored it and the bulbs won't lock in place...
made a temporary repair by putting some tape round the bulbs to make them bigger.
I ordered a pair of bulb holders for old style indicators ( with the metal bayonet locating
ring) these holders are metal . Now for the mod!! I had to take out the old plastic
holder and cut off the bayonet location, then i had to grind the new holder so it
would fit between the lense locating towers (screw on lense), I then had to epoxy
the new bulb holder to the old plastic back plate, put some male bullets onto the
wire so I can connect them to the holder, re-fit and hey presto, we now have
working lights with 'NON' pop out bulbs !!! .

Also highered the rear as it was a bit lower on one side

also ordered a 12''long 3 1/2" dia 2" bore cherry bomb silencer to shut up the whingers

Got my cherry bomb today, had a holiday so I fitted the new silencer,
hasn't made a lot of difference ,but a little... i'll wait and see if there
are still complaints !!!

Noticed after I had packed up that I have a chip on the rear quarter
can't remember doing anything to cause a chip though..
