there was a Saxo VTS parked up and he said ' I want one of them'. I then
took him for a spin down the by-pass then around a few roundabouts LOL.
when we pulled on the drive he turned to me and said ' Forget the Saxo I
want one of these' . Thought that was pretty cool.. LOL.

Had a moment on the way down (M69), While having a mess around with 'Jameswildcooper' in his
supercharged clubby, I was just coming up to 90ish mph when the motor decided to spit
out quite a bit of oil !!!! loads of smoke out and inside the car (oil on exhaust), had
oil coming through the bulkhead and running down , Water temp was ok, oil pressure
fine so I knew it wasn't terminal, I then took it easy the rest of the way. Had a look
when I got to Longbridge and looks like it came from the clutch cover breather, looked
in the timing cover at the clutch and that looked free from oil.
Also checked the oil level and found that it was quite high, I'd checked it the night
before and I must have over filled it , High sump pressure ,overfilled oil and
high revs result in possible crank seal failure Doh!!
Bought a washable breather filter for the clutch breather to prevent any oil escaping,
fitted before leaving and had a leisurely drive home.
When I got home I drained off about 3/4 litre of oil , took Ratty out and he seems
ok, so i'll leave him and see how he behaves before stripping the clutch housing
down..
