(1275 sprite) and I followed James (jameswildcooper) and his supercharged
clubby.. Well I was quite surprised how well Ratty went, stayed with James on
the bendy bits but he had the edge on the straights... for a motor that hasn't
been ran for 12/15 yrs it's superb. as far as I know it's a standard Austin 1300GT
apart from a 648 cam , lightened flywheel ( not balanced ) standard head, HIF6 SU
MG Metro inlet manifold, Lcb , modified DTM exhaust.

Are you going to be fitting a heater?
If not, how are you planning to stop the windscreen misting up?
Chris
who's heater actually clears their screen?? lol, plus its not hard to wipe the screen with a chamois... not exactly big... lol!

rear suspension was really knocking quite bad so I decided to
investigate the reason why when we got back. on closer inspection
I noticed that the flexy brake pipe brkt was very close to the rear
seat base floor and from the mark shows it is hitting ,
measured both side of the car (ground to roof) and it
is the same both sides.then noticed that where the rear
seat base has been repaired it is lower than the other side.
So for now I have highered the Hi-Lo's to compensate. I'll
see if that works, if it doesn't i'll have to alter the seat
base IE cut and weld...

its the join where I had to mod the seat base to
get the subframe aligned, needs knocking up.
the join near the front
after another look tonight, noticed it is where the gusset is fitted, so
i slit the weld and knocked up the floor with me hammer..
I then took Ratty out and it's 100% better
