glad i didn't manage to get one at Bingley now.

going to cost me about £15 in fuel to pick it up though.
but it's still a bargain!!

Have you seen the minisprint built by Neville tricket in the March
issue of miniworld ? that looks the dogs bo***ks, he's even chanelled the body
to keep it all in proportion, you can also see where he's cut through
the pillars and the roof, gives some idea of how to do it!
looking at the b/w pic it looks like he's raked the roof back aswell.

Sorry but not done much, ran out of gas again ,my biggest problem !!!!
bought a f/glass front off the bay £51.



Got probs with my daily drive at the mo ( 1.2 Corsa) , h/gasket blown and cam gone
awol and took out 2 followers !! bought a motor of ebay for £40 so i've got to
fit that.
Thought the corsa was a bit nippy with it having 15'' wheels on, checked the block
and it had a 1.4 motor fitted in it . I've been driving it illegally for a year without
knowing

Hope to get back on with the min a soon as possible.

Got my engine changed in the Corsa, checking over
for the MOT and found both the sills are rotted through!!!!
So still not on the road untill i get some GAS

Mini on hold for the moment! :'(

Got a cylinder of gas from work on friday, replaced both of
the sills on my corsa by saturday evening, left this afternoon
free. Spent the afternoon on the mini

fitted the o/s crossmember extention piece and fitted the outer sill,



seam welded the outside of the heel board to floor.



welded in new inside seatbelt mountings



underside welding nearly done

Yipee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally got the Corsa mot'd ,, Try and borrow some
gas again at the weekend so I can do some more on the old
Mini, it's been neglected lately poor thing
