[1275 SPRITE]

Actually I keep trying to get there before they shut, but they are always closed when I finish work, because there is a set of 6x12 wheels on a rusty white mini that I quite fancy to refurb and fit on mine.

Just got these for the dash, blue led dial gauges, £25 +£5 p&p,
should look nice with the speedo... might need to paint the
bezels though..

The metal gates are always locked, so dont fancy going in lol.
The gauges look good! Are those the ones you went for, oil pressure and water temp?

yep, unfortunately the digi doesn't have a water temp .

well stuck some fuel in the tank and no leaks out of the welds
put a fuse in the pump feed and connected it up, found that the
inlet manifold wouldn't allow the bottom of the carb (hif44) to clear
the bulkhead ,so it was holding off on the head ! luckily I have got
another more compact one , so I swopped them over , got a good
spark , but couldn't get the bloody thing to fire up... tried for most of
the evening , but decided to leave it and try with a fresh head tomorrow!!

Lets hope it's something simple

well been uploading the vids to photobucket...
found a few probs while trying to start the motor !
found that the dizzi drive had previously been fitted
180 degrees out !! and I had some how set the rockers
with a .80mm gap Doh!!!!!
After a bit of messing finally got Ratty running !!!!! Yipee!!!
Think he sounds quite good !!!

Very nice, sounds great

Sounds a little lumpy on idle too, so that cam in there should give it some grunt
