I had a mk2 in 1987ish ,so it would have been the same age in comparison, it was
no where as rotten as this little bu**er .LOL.

plated over top air inlet and side air vent
fitted new flitch panel
made new closing panel
fettled and primed
o/s done

but a little way off yet, bought some G5 arches off Monkeyboy, i've got to cut
out my NEWLY fitted rear arches to give extra wheel clearance for 13'' wheels.
neg rear camber and lowered, neg front camber and lowered. flip steel front
as pic;

front and rear gutters removed, other seams removed incl sill seam, fixed rear
quarter windows, f1 carbon mirrors , poss mk1 rear lights or other non mini,
single center front wiper,black & silver no plates, half bright red and half diamond white
paintwork split at scuttle/wing join
stripped out inside ,all pipes / cables inside, roll cage, not sure on just two front
buckets and no rear seat or have two classic (small) buckets in the rear aswell.
NO audio only the sweet sound of engine exhaust and carbs (2)

Exturnal hinges IMO, make the Mini... and it really messes with peoples minds, a chap decided to stop and look at my mini when it was uncovered outside...
He couldn't "guess" the age! Due to the light plates on the back, and the hinges... evntully he said it was a mk2... lol
only 20 years out lol!
And u havn't copied me in anyway... your welding is better lol

I just went out and did it ! once you cut you've got to carry on LOL.
But i bought a min from the scrap yard and transfered my stuff over
to it so i had wheels ( naughty naughty)
