I think i might be going 998 turbo aswell mate. i already have a hif44 and managed to pick up a bargain mirage manifold of ebay

haha nope antro sold it to chris then chris sold it to back to antro then i bought it off antro and stuck it in mine lol ;) yeh im going to rebuild the original engine and turbo that if all goes well and yeh it needs a bit (alot) of weldy weldy before i can mot it lol hopefully be back on the road soon :)

Looks like a nice solid car you've made, now the boring bit is done get on and sort the engine out. What have you got left to get?

Interesting build. when I lived in Crewe 8 years ago I built a 998 turbo with a Metro T3 to an almost identical spec to yours. The drive was interesting, shall we say. No power until 4k, then 140bhp, and all out of puff at 6k.

I was running a very low CR though, if you run a highet CR and less boost it will be more progressive.

The flip font is all steel mate andi made it my self, As for the hinges are from a ford galaxy boot lid (the earlyer type) they have the struts ats part of them. They worked out really well for a £10 just go a scrappy :)
If i were the do it agian i would spend some time a make my own hinges.
