I actually quite like that top one, the second one looks like a mini gained some weight and mated with a bus...

You mean a minibus? I think it's been done

but atleast a proper minibus has an excuse for looking as bad as it does.

The second one is also defiantly not photoshopped, it appears to be a secret test mule for the new car. Must be parked outside the Nürburgring. I bet BMW are going to close this site now I've posted that photo.

from what I hear, there is going to be a limited run of vans (a couple 1000) this year (got a mate that was working on the project)

As an owner of both BMW and Classic I must say BMW finally jumped the shark. This is hideous. Apparently they've lost all concept of what Mini was or ever will be again.

Which picture are you referring too?........the tall white 'people carrier' van with a Mini grille in the first post is purely a silly magazine photoshop/uninformed guess...........the new MIIN Van will almost certainly be based on the existing MINI Clubman Estate in the same way the the original classic Mini van was very closely related to the classic Mini Traveller/Countryman/Clubman estate.

The blue one just looks like a clubman with a vynil sticker over the rear window. It's the hideous White Wale I'm refering too. Some one musta read Moby Dick while designing it.

Good, because as I stated the 'hideous white whale' is a magazine photoshop and nothing to do with BMW or the new Clubman based MINI van!

I'm wondering , how is the clubman going to become a van?
A seat delete kit and window panels?
If so, Some owners have already done that. Wonder what they will do with the interior. Will they raise the roof height?

However.............some said that about the first new R50 MINI hatch in 2001, the Clubman in 2007, the Countryman in 2010 and more recently the Coupe!
