rear triangles reflectors as per trailer regs.
im sure theres a distance measurement between car and trailer, but it looks ok from your pictures. You might want a jockey wheel for unhitching and pushing around at shows if its loaded with gear.
id also be using minimum 2 bolts to hold in the removable sections, same size as you would use to attach the towball to the towbar frame.

Removable pieces each have 2 'pins' with 'R' clips for strength and to be secure.

You might find your flasher rate changes with the trailer attached, if it does you can just change the flasher relay to sort it out.

FYI Yours are from a MIni 30, Flame Red, Checkmate or Cooper RSP. They have the wheel nut holes inline with the wheel spokes. They come up on Ebay quite frequently at around £100 for 4.
