cant wate to see some progress paul how ent you finishing it you done such a good job so far had my exhaust today from toyosport and i hade to give it a test fit it fits but it is super tight how much flex will these honda mounts have as there is mm clearance

Posted Image

this is the down pipe by the subfame would like abit more clearance but dont think theres allot i can do the exhaust is realy good for £90 goot steel and well made realy happy with that and its making my mini look abit more of a car
Posted Image
this is my bad now wateing on a radiator at the minit should be hear soon i also had my rocker cover powder coated at work as that was making me sick looking at it half rubed down and paint flaking off it started looking at fitting a front end back on it thats allot harder than choping the old one off im not worryed if the wing dont fit tight to the scuttle panel just want it to look good and not like the wing is hanging off lol so i nearly got the drivers side wing on and lined up with the bonnet
Posted Image
abit more fideling to do with that and i will start to mount the front panel then progress is cuming on just dont want to be down the garage in this nice weather lol

Only thing is johny won't he need to know what dials etc you plan to use, also more importantly what length to cut the loom for you, I'm pretty sure a honda loom in honda clothes will be good for a honda dash and all its placements, but in a mini? I reckon he will need the actual car and your dash plans

that is a good point Kam suppose he could sort some thing out mabie he could send his clocks up with the loom so it could all be wired in about the lenth i dont realy now mabie there could be abit of extra wire behind the dash lol im takeing my car to him wen its ready its about a 2 houre drive buy should be worth it s it can all the done there

Yeah dropping the car off (like you) would be easier, especially when you think what your getting at the end of it so its gotta be worth the effort. Its just looms are built around the space of the dash and everyone has different ideas for there dash and where the gauges will be and where the loom will be fed around based on there bulkhead etc

Saying all that though, the main legwork of the loom would've been done, so you could cut it down further to fit? just make sure he leaves labels on the ends!

been realy bisy this week with the car had a few more parts come in its mad how much all the little bits cost but every one said it wouldnt be cheap lol had all the parts in one day so i went down the garage and was deciding what to do so i thout i will fit the bump stops nice easy job

Posted Image
These are the few bits that came some rubber fuel pipe was still wating for the metal pipe to arrive at this point new bump stops, new braided brake lines, new boalt set for the rear subframe, and new camber arms and radiator
Posted Image

so as i said ill fit the bump stops and get rid of a few parts.
Posted Image

Put them on they look lovely they took me a hole 2 minits to fir so i had to decide where to go next as i have came to a stand still. Abit of thinking and i decide its time that engine comes back out to hade a new cluch as the one in there was dead hopefully now the next time the engine is in its there to stay for abit about 20 minits later and the engine is on the floor i can finish the bulk head now and run the fuel lines with out the engine in the way as well
Posted Image

The car looks bare now its mad what is left lol the engine bay will be sealed up now painted and sound proofed before the engine is back in so wen the engine is on the floor thout i would sort the altinator out as i have never had it fitted properly so i boalt that on as i have plenty of room on the floor and meashure the size i need with some wire

Posted Image

so a quick trip down the the car shop i came back with a new belt and made it all fit lovely thats one less job to tgink about hopefully
Posted Image

The altinator seems to be out ferther than the bottom pully but runs smooth wen i turn the engine over dont now why that is unless my bottom pully is wrong will try it any way if the betlt flys off i now its wrong lol so as im cant order a cluch untill late next neek now decided to fit my new subframe to the back and get the car back on 4 wheels so i can clean my garage out
Posted Image

its not a new subframe but new to my build lol my old one was welded and mabit twisted so decided to use this one as it was free any way lol put my new brake lines on befrore i fitted it they look lovely
Posted Image
thats all fitted now but not finished will get some more piks up wen i get chance to do some more

You need to use the outer (smaller third wheel) with that alternator bracket, it looks to me like your third wheel is a v-groove type and not ribbed like the other two? you need ribbed on all three
