I love how the red interior paint goes with the blue exterior.

All looking amazing as usual, all the little things are coming together, I so wish i was at this stage :(

Well I though that Kieran my original plan was to get some black suede and cover it all but I then seem how good it sets of with the blue so I think it's going to stay that way for now

I am hopping to have it done in no time and tempery insure it for a week or to then get it motd and 4 wheel alined then I am planing on having it off the road for a few weeks so I can save up and get it all insured for the year think the years insurance will. Be a killer

Hi Paul thanks for your comment how is yours cumin along. With the carpet the pedals just push the carpet down into the grooves made on the floor the clutch pedal goes right down as that's how I set it up but the brake pedal should never go down that far unless of failure witch I hope never happens so I can't see any issues with it so far witch is a change

Ye I'd keep it red, i thought you had painted the roll cage when i first seen it.

Ye I'm looking ahead to that small issue.....insurance. I don't want to sell my Pug to cover it so mine may get left a few months to save up, or a respray....not too sure

Expect an update on mine next weekend, but in the meantime best of luck with the rest of your build :D

I look forword to seeing an update on your Kieran it should not be to long untill your at the stage where you can put it all back together your build seems to be quite smooth apart from your gear box issue if it comes to it and you need to replace it I do have a spare b16 gear box hear but I hope you can solve it with out it being replaced

My cage is still as I Bort it it will be cuming back out tommorow so a can weld some plates under the feet I may then spray it mat black

The insurance is a big killer I did a quote for my dad on it the other day all mods declaierd £230 for a year with 1 years no claims they would not let me go on the policey as I'm not 25 :/ so I'm going to have to shop about abit and find some thing I can work with if not lock it away for 6 years un till I am 25 lmao :( jokeing

Ye i think I have solved it, thanks for the gearbox offer by the way but ye hopefully wont need it.

Hahaha ye same here...... :whistling: your insurance on the starlet must be fairly steep?

Tell you what i'm quite looking forward to doing is listing the mods to the person on the other side of the phone :D "is there any modifications on the vehicle?" "eeer where to start??"

Martins one? yeah he does some good stuff but I think carbon looks better with a carbon look! Is the arches gonna be stickered for life or can that chip be taken care of?

hi guys only a quick update to do with a few pics i had a good productive day the car seems to be coming together nicely for a change its seems as if there is some thing wrong as its took over a year to get it to the point where it could be painted now its all coming together quickly it just does not seem right but i am not complaining

so saterday we had realy nice weather for a change i think i spent over 10 houres down there that day all though i did have a hole load of other work to do other than just my cars

I had to change the power steering pump on the ek 10 minit job also i was lowering the eg at the same time whilst working on the mini also there was a few jobs to do on my mates jeep

Posted Image

Any way back to the mini i thought i would fresh her up abit with a new lick of paint under the wheel arches as they where covered in over spray and looked terrible so i re painted them in black i still have the rear arches to do in the week but i am waiting on some new shocks so i think i will do it when they arrive
Posted Image

I also got a new master cylinder so i got that fitted and plumed in i attempted bleeding the brakes and that was a fail due to one of the bleed nipples being broke on the rear brakes but i cant get a new one untill tomorrow so thats another job to be done

I do still have abit of tidying up to do under the bonnet
Posted Image

This is my trailer plug for my front lights wich works very well just showing as some one may wont to see how its mounted

Posted Image

today i though i would do abit of work inside i got a carped i stole out of another project i gave it a quick clean and fitted it also i got the seat bolted in and the harnesses i still have to make a bracket for the passenger side so that will go in soon.
Posted Image

through last week i got the rear of the cage bolted down and now the front half of the carpet is fitted i could then bolt the front of the cage down and i fitted the door bars.
Posted Image

i made some brackets for the clocks it was realy hard to get a possition on where i could see all the clocks it took a while but this is as good as i could get it its not to bad tho Posted Image

i was doing a few checks on all the electrics every thing works apart from the left rear indicator witch was working then stopped probably just a bulb any way a quick pik of the lights

Posted Image

i will be working on the car through the week not to much left to do now i need to do the rear arm bearing bleed the brakes find a wind screen im realy stuck on that one and refurbish my wheels it should be looking nerly ready for the road then
