Good to see it all in one colour at least, nice work

Thanks Kam it is nice to see it all in one colour for a change just this dam snow is holding me up and we just had a few more inches this morning. When it's painted I think I will start to see the light at the end of the tunnel :)

Hi all i only have a small update to do as the weather has been holding me back abit but any way i managed to get the next coat of primer on and the roof painted was planning on painting the holw car this weekend but they ran out of hardener in the paint shop so that was a no go

so i started off by re fitting the boot lid with new seals and i flatted the paint with 800 wet and dry sand paper

ready for the next coat of primer it needs to be gray for the base coat
all in primer this time the front is just resting in place so the paint would get in all the areas



then this afternoon it was time for a little bit of paint on the roof its not perfect but its only gun finish abit of polish should sort it out


so mabie next week i can get some paint on the rest of the car i may have a last minit colour change i dont now yet

that roof looks really good wish i could spray that good in my garage

Thanks it's not 100% perfect there's a few specs of dust in it it's going to need a good polish. Then it should be looking nice :)

after the roof dried it did come out allot better than i thout any way a big step forword today got the car painted i was going for a last minit colour change but i chickened out and stuck with my original colour and i am glad i did we did have a few problems tho the bonner reacted badley on the one side so its going to need re doing it also reacted in a few places but not to bad let me now what you think



its changes to purple in the light one of the main reasons i love this colour


if its all ok tommorow i will get it out in the light and get some better piks

Yeah Kam it's a honda coloure I still have not got it out in day light to see what coloure it is yet lmao but in my garage with the door shut it is a stunning blue

Thanks for all the good comments guys the colour is supersonic blue i got the code of my mates civic ek4

so basicly i have been puting all the bits and bobs back on to make this a car again not much to update on the engine side but i will sorting things like the brakes ect out soon

i have had to order a load of new parts as every thing was destroyed when my car was burned

This is what i have had to find

full set of glass apart from a rear wind screen as i still have the original i had door glass and quarter panel glass in one of my garages under loads of crap lmao i am still missing a wind screen cant find one any where

brand new door handles locks

brand new seal kit windows door seals ect

rear light seals

indicators

all the mechanical of the inside of the door window winders handles ect

carper i had from another project

new head light bowels the tipe with out the spring

i still need to buy a tidy set of shocks for the back and loads more bits but money is tight so i am trying my best to spend as much as i can on the mini

hear is a few piks of how it started to come together

i got the honda badge of an ek i scraped a few months ago



i got the arches on they still need a clean up tho



the blue and black looks beautiful together

the engine looks so much cleaner and nicer now with the body work painted only problem i am having is im to scared to take the front off as i dont wont it getting scratched



got some of the glass in and the doors built up



new indicators i had to have orange as it sets off with the blue so well


from the back new number plate im still looking to get a square one made for the front cant find any where that makes them small enough to not look to big i am aslo missing the number plate light i dont now what i have done with all this stuff but my mini has been off the road so long now i have lost it all




and just one last pik that i edited looks awesome



i am working on the car every night now would like it to go the the riv run this year i need to get some longer track rod ends made up and the wheel aliment sorted after the mot i also need 4 new tyres and to clean up my wheels
