I got a letter from the dvla saying they want to inspect the vehicle before they issue a v5 heres the letter

Just spoke to dvla they have now canceled my v62 because i know now the reg to it and that was why it had to be inspected because i did not know the reg so gotta send another one off now :)

Thanks just glad im getting somewhere with original regnew v62 filled in and will be in postbox in next 5 mins :)

All looks like pretty standard stuff from the DVLA.

A mate of mine has an e type with the original reg number and chassis number but not on the latest V5C - They want to inspect that also.

i couldve popped in for you my misses lives like 2minutes from that dvla office.

i received my new red V5c this morning. (about time) my grandad got his about a month ago.

Ya just waiting now for the v5 to come for the Van and as soon as that come through the letter box ill be ordering panels for her :)

I wonder if there is some poor sod out there now bricking himself about his van after being contacted by the DVLA all because of what someone else did? (previous owner not you) Or will we see a thread on TMF soon starting " The DVLA took away my reg & V5C . . . . ."

ya there might be the van has been off the road for 15 years and has been sat in a barn since then and was taken to the scrapyard comeplete someone had the door off her and the vin plates

got some new from dvla they sent a letter to the registered keeper of the v5 on the 20th and have to wait to see if they reply if they dont within 3 weeks they will send me the v5

i guess if they do they will take a look at both minis to work out who has the real one

Ya the he said the reason why they sent a letter is because they still have a recorded keeper on record so they have to do it

Looks good matey i am well glad that didnt get crushed dont need anymore vans going like that i am surpised it was on the cars in the first place any sort of mini tends to get snapped up pritty quick for resto or used for parts in all my local scrap yards!

will be watching this, whats you finished plans with it? or not got that far in thoughts lol
