I ended up getting drunk the night before so didnt actually make it to the show.

Unfortunately she didn't make it, doors weren't painted in time, and few other bits my end I just didn't have time to do, had to get my escort ready for the show when I realised it wasn't going the van wasn't gonna make it

Wow that's an incredible mission you have gone through!!! I'm new to TMF, I've managed to read over this thread start to finish, took me 3 sittings and I'm up in less than 5 hours for work. Hooked on it, sleeps for sleepy people!!!! So impressed with what you have done in such a short time, but it has also just scared the crap out of me as to what I might find when I start my van. Anyway well done and I look forward to seeing the finished item.

Dan you never guess what I found under a load of paperwork at my mums while I was there for dinner last night!!!!!!

Sorry guys !!! I've not been updating it replying. Been rushed off my feet with work.

Also my mk2 escort decided to go pop!! Apparently the 1300 couldn't cope with the abuse of drifts and burnout and pooped a piston.

So I've pulled the engine on that and fitted a rebuilt 1600 with fast road cam and twin choke webber. So haven't done much on the van! Until today.

I took her out and into day light first time for a few weeks.

Gave the unit a good tidy up and then stuck her back away until tomorrow.

Tomorrow I want to drive her. Will be the first time I've driven her in 2 years!!
