Cheers guys, all the kinds words give me more motivation thanks !!!
Well yesterday....was an expensive day to say the least !! Van got very spoilt!
My old girl made it!!! Surprisingly fault free not a single problem, brought my little lad with me who absolutely loved it ! Fair to say he actually more mini mad than me !!
Also spotted this little Beauty! It's minimisstion of here, finally got to put names to faces which was good
Uncortantly no more shows for me now I think until L2B as I need to get as much time as I can into my van now, got an email Friday from AUTOSPARKS my loom is been custom made and is on its way to me, another piece to the jigsaw.
More updates soon guys
Dan
Was great to put a face to the name mate. And cheers for the pic :) the poor old guy got very wet lol need to sort my rear door sills.

I'm just going to have to make it fit with brute force, will stick a bar down the filler neck and give it some slight tweets until perfect, and no worries buddy will see you at L2b in your van ;)
I have been known to do this method and it did sort the problem lol

A snug fitting tube over the OD would be better and would do less damage to the cop securing thingymajigs. Use something that extends as far down as you can too then hopefully it will just flex the top of the tank where the neck joins, rather than putting an actual bend in the neck.
If you have to go inside, then something as close to the diameter of the hole as possible to avoid pressure points, but agains reaching down to somewhere near the base of the neck.

Kind of thinking that I should have gone with a new loom now.
Might try that idea with the tank.

Loving the new shiny bits and the new loom. Not yet far enough on TET to sort out what I have and don't
I rebuilt my loom mainly as it was a 80's saloon main wiring loom in a 71 estate.
Spent hours on it added additional circuits for front lights replaced damaged connectors, fuse box ect.
If I added up the hours it would have been more economical to buy a new one but I did it in my lunch hour at work so time was not an issue and working with a limited budget..
Happy with the end result but still have to fit it yet.
