Th and guys!! Will be cracking in this weekend....I've changed my mind on the front panel after seeing vans with the mk1 grill. So will be refitting a standard panel and have a mk1 grill but also have the normal van grill as removable if I fancy a change

Cool sounds like a good plan with those front grills.. So you could have a nice chrome period cooper style grill and swap out when you like you say you fancy a change :) look forward to some more pics :))

Cheers man and yup can have a switch around if I want to.

Well this weekend I wanted to get my front end done. So started by removing the front panel to allow for a standard one. And then re-adjust everything to fit again. And by Sunday evening she was all on and welded ! Just need to make a few slight adjustments to the bonnet.

Quick mock up

Wing fitted good but opened up at the end

Also got this welded on before I forgot.

Bit of primer on before the wings went on for the final time

Hi Dan,

do you weld between the wing and scuttle? If so, always wondered how people do when the replacements inner wing assy are available with the scuttle closure already fitted.

Shouldn't be to bad to repair just will be time consuming. Hoping to get the frame repaired this weekend. Then crack on with the rest of it
