Yeh defo my misses doesn't mind she has a mini also as do her brother and dad so a mini family, fishing is a good break from minis....

Not a lot has been done I've looked at the van and that's about it just lost all incentive to get her done. Especially as I wanted it done for tomorrow haha but with so much stuff happening at the moment that deadline went right out the window.

well guys...... went to MITP in my red mini seen loads of nice mini and especially some nice vans....which has given me loads of motivation. I haven't posted any updates on here as they will only tiny bits and bobs I had done. but here some updates my van now has a full front end which is nearly ready to be welded on once I can source another bonnet

anyways onto the van!! I have a bonnet here off a 1991 city.... the bonnet it utter crap doesn't even fit in the slightest !!! put the original bonnet on and fits mint!! but is rotted out beyond even trying to repair. so need to source another good bonnet

Thanks guys :) was awesome to just take a step back and see how far she's come and to see her looking like a mini once again !! Just need to find myself another bonnet before I weld the front together. Once front is all welded I will then make the repairs to the drivers door frame and once the frame is repaired and 100% I will then replace the rear quarter.

Can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel now !!

I cant wait to be a this state with my mk1, took the engine out of it this weekend just gone and left more car on the floor its a sad day when you have to sweep your car off the floor looking forward to seeing your front all welded on once you sort the bonnet out :)

Thanks guys :) and yup it's so crap at the start of the resto when you seem to just keep finding rust and keep sweeping it all up but in the long run when you get to the stage where it's mainly nice solid metal it's awesome !!

Want to go down the garage tonight but got work early so best to leave it.

Managed to borrow a bonnet off someone local to me just got to collect and see how that fits if it fits ok I will order a new bonnet me thinks

Yeh defo no what you mean just need to get past that stage of crusty metal and rust to some nice clean floors one day it will get the full treatment :)

I am the same some times mate got to be up for work every day at 530 sucks...

Think it will be defo worth the new bonnet everything else is new metal :)
