As above those nuts look really good. Nice and subtle.

Painted the tow hooks I had cut:
Also, been dreaming something up. It means going back to rod change but to avoid a bulkhead box I'd cut and shut the linkages. I'll have to trial it first but if worst comes to worst, I'll just bolt the cable shifter back on. Still need to figure out the yoke yet but in my head it should work ok. The gear stick is a little thick but it can always be changed:
Next week, I have 2 weeks off work and I'll be back home. Hopefully the weather will be dry at least.

I got them from a guy on eBay. I bought one bearing as I was a little skeptical but when they turned out to be genuine, I bought a second pair.

Figured out how to mount the throttle pedal
Seam welded, drilled holes in and painted the rear subframe
Partially built up the rear subframe (getting the KAD camber brackets to line up was a *******)
Chopped out the rear seat
Started to tub the rear arches
Made boxes for the roll cage to sit on
and started a few other little jobs.
Might start taking more photo's on the phone so that I can upload them.

I also trimmed the pedal down as it was a lot larger than the brake and clutch pedal. Sprayed it black too. (Still need another collar)
Finished tubbing the arches:
Cut out the old boot pin mounts and remade them. Much neater now.
Bought a FG single skin boolid. My god is it thin and flexy but hey, it's a track car.
Got my turrets ready to weld in on one side. Still got the other side to do tomorrow hopefully.
Not too bad a job with the seat cut out.
