Hi buddy - nah I'm still kicking me ;) lol

Yeah it's still sat in the garage :( I get it out some weekends and give it a run. I'm starting my proper lessons in February after my module A2 exams and I hope to pass by the end of march/early April ready for the summer shows where he'll be making his grand entrance to the mini scene :) just insurance now though :L good news is that it's gone down to £2K on comparison websites now that the equal gender scheme has taking place and even better it'll drop down to £1600 when I turn 18 in may :D and I've got a part time job now that's also offered a full time managers position when I leave sixth form in June !!!! :D

How's things with you and your mini any way ?

Ooh forgot to put this up - my parents surprised me for Christmas and got my steering wheel trimmed :D it was in a sorry state and I had been looking for a replacement for ages but they are hard to come by for the thirty and when I did find one it was expensive and not much better nick than mine :L but it looks great now and the leather is almost a perfect match to the original :P

Hopefully I'll put it on the car Saturday and it'll give me an excuse to get it out again and give it a run. I'm going to binglet hall the end of this month and I have some money burning a hole in my back pocket so expect to see another update with some shiny things soon ;)

Eh!...

I'm looking for work to pay for it, I've turned down a couple of apprenticeships. Didn't get one at BMW, Halfords offered one, but. Eh. I got offered the chance to stay at college and do Levels 1,2,3 in 1 and a half years rather than 3. So.. I'm gonna stick with that and try and find a part time job to pay for it.

I was gonna apply for jaguar landrover, BMW, rolls Royce, triumph and the likes but now i've got this job - if all goes well - I think I'm settled :D it's a CAD design co-managers position for an engineering firm called wmh-transmissions who are based in Tamworth...it's almost too good to be true :)

Sounds like a plan bud, stick with it and something will come up for you :)

You going to, that's a mission from Essex isn't it :P we'll have to meet up mate - I'm going with my dad too :)

Its a ******* mission but me and dad love doing stuff like that, My sister and him do a father daughter day out and we do the same. We've been to every Motorshow including the ones at the NEC, Mini shows even before i bought a Mini.

Its about 2 and half hours in total but we're gonna take the mercedes so it should be nice and comfy... Lay the seats flat and pick up some bits.

Fancy ;) we go to shows in my dads little run around - an N reg pug 106 diesel :P last time we went to bingley we came back with an entire exhaust system that was fused into one piece so we had half of it sticking through the passenger window :L good times lol

Its not that fancy :P....

Its 12 years old and got galactic miles, probably buy one for less than a 106 diesel, we used to have a gold 106! It was epic.

The 106 is cool - sounds like a French WW2 tank and is as difficult to steer as one :P lol

We'll have to arrange to meet at bingley closer to the time :)

Hi again all, took cliff down for his MOT Friday and he passed with no advisories ! Just got to pass my test and I'm all set :P

On another note, I'm looking at buying a subwoofer and amp for the other speakers already in the there too, I've got it all planned out now just waiting until I've got enough cash to spare for it all :L
