Loooking good! very nice interior, keep meaning to make my interior a bit nicer, so i'm thinking new carpet set is the way forward, really looks good!

wont be long till you are steaming down a twisty b road pretending again you are on a rally stage :P

cheers matey, i was going to try and repair my original cherry red carpets but this bright red set was only £20 so i went for it, it really makes the inside look bigger and goes nicely against all the black...i love 80's retro styling

i know, can't wait...my dad is teaching me the basics first before i have proper lessons...no point paying for something i can get for free ;D hehe

Only issue with getting taught by friends and family is you can pick up bad habits, I would actually recommend taking a few lessons with a good instructor to get the basics then fill up with lessons with your dad, as its harder to get out of bad habits hen you know what you're doing,

and yeah I love my interior mostly because its so 80's and retro, its just cooler!

hmm, never thought of that, come to think of it my dad doesn't always put the handbrake on when he stops at a junction :mmkay:

80's retro will come back in style..........someday

i havent much since I passed, the way i see it is, until you pass, do everything by the book, and its a lot easier being taught the book by somebody thats completely up to date with everything which a driving instructor is, Im in no way doubting your dads driving ability by the way!

yeah, i see where your coming from, my parents say that they dropped most of the driving styles once they past. looks like my dad will need to freshen up before he teaches me any more ;D my mates dad will be my driving instructor so i sometimes ask him questions when i see my mate :proud:

Very nice looking. Mine had literally the same interior as yours (RSP). Took it out tho as it was pretty tired.

Couldn't help notice tho your spots are two different glass patterns?

cheers buddy :proud: thats a shame, these interiors are the best ones ever fitted to a mini imo :D

yeah at first i thought they were odd but i asked my grandad (who gave them to me) and he said that they are a pair, they are a vintage set and one lens (offside) is deigned to stop the beam shining onto the other lane to prevent them blinding an on coming driver which is handy as i have put 75 watt bulbs in them (stronger than the head lamps i think )
