Just read the project from page one and i have to give credit to you looks really good and making a clean car from it. I seen as well you have some A+ rocker decals and was wondering if you still had one and could let one go spare been after one for a while. I will keep my eye on this project.
Thanks Josh

Cheers mate, it's nice to know that i'm helping people to put more minis back on the road this week end (weather permitting ) we will start flatting down the car and filling the areas required and then maybe, just maybe, we will bring the car back home to start re assembling the running gear fingers crossed
Cheers

first we flatted down the whole car with p240 wet and dry (bar the roof which will be done with an orbiter during the week to get an even finish)
drives roof corner repaired
then we primed the areas of exposed metal, thin paint and new metal
then we seam sealed the new front end seams, vertical seams, sills edges and around the window apertures
that's it for now, we are back up to date
this Saturday we are moving Cliff back home for re assembly
comments always welcome
Cheers

Saturday was the big move day, so first we flatted down the roof and applied the last bits of filler and primer
then we swivelled him round and backed the flat bed next to the body
then we lifted him onto the back of the truck and strapped him down
it still made me chuckle, it's just the level of over kill this lorry is
then we drove back home and lifted him back into the garage and sat him on four recycling boxes...he's a bit heavier than last time so four of us had to lift him off the truck and into the garage
and this is what we have replaced
that's what we did at the week end, we didn't get to start re assembly as we had other plans but i will try and work on it when ever i get the chance now he's back home

first we ran the new fuel and brake lines under the car and fitted the brake bias valve...is this the right way round ?
then we fitted the pre assembled rear subframe and to our amazement, the bolts aligned perfectly first time
sorry for the poor quality iPhone pictures, camera memory is full
that's all for today
comments welcome as always
