Your exhaust idea being the same as the miglia design?
It would work the same as a miglia but a little ott on a 998. As mr bounce has said your lcb looks like it will give issues being squashed like that

thanks for the reply mate, by over-the-top do you mean it will be too big of a system for the engine output or does it not look good in your opinion ?

Cheers for feed back

Rhys

Too big for the engine. I have the miglia system on mine but have the CC's to use the full race system. Maniflow may be able to build you a custom system to suit your smaller engine, or give you some advice on max bore size.

Hi rhys. I found the number etched into the drivers side footwell when I scraped off the sound deadening stuff. There is a pic on my website in the bodywork section. I should start a thread on here really. Lol.
The website I uses to find out how many 30s are left is http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/
Cheers Joe

it is a two inch system, how will the extra size affect the performance ? i thought that larger capacity will allow more gas flow and let the engine breath easier

thanks for this technical help

my uncle gave me a small speaker system today, it's from an old JBL power range, they have never been used or opened before and my uncle brought them a few years ago to put in his car but never did...so he gave them to me :gimme:

Posted Image

two 5 1/4 inch and two 6 1/2 inch speakers

all four speakers have a mesh cover

Hi rhys. What kind of cherry red paint is it? I've been looking for some brush on metal paint or cherry red underseal for mine for a while.. I want to give the underneath a nice thick coat of cherry red lol. Can I ask where it was from etc? Cheers joe

hi joe, yes this stuff is brush able cherry red paint, colour code 3004 from N.R.P ltd in Nuneaton...you can't get pearlecsent brush able paint. i don't know how well it will match the paint of the car but my dad took one of my doors in to them and they then just colour matched it. this isn't under seal, we are going to primer, stone chip, paint (with this stuff) and then wax oil the underside of cliff to seal him from the elements...

hope this helps you

Rhys

Yea it does. Thank-you very much. I'll have a look into it. I plan on priming, stonechipping and painting with cherry red paint. Not sure on waxoyling it all.. I won't be using her everyday and probably never in the rain so I didn't want to go too ott with it... not sure yet.. thanks. That was a great help.

sorry, my mistake, it's a 1 3/4 inch system and my dad was talking to a bloke at work who used to race mini's and he said that 1 3/4 will be fine. thanks anyway for the technical help, you had me worried that i had wasted money for a moment there :ohno:

Cheers

today we got cliff ready to be moved to the unit later this week, we:

- removed the wing mounted aerial
- removed the horn
- removed the locking bonnet catch ( i will be modifying this for use as internal bonnet release )
- removed the fresh air vent pipes from under the wings
- removed the seem covers

my dad has also made up new fuel and brake lines and cleaned up the old battery cable as we forgot that i already have a new one >_<

we also pot-riveted on my engine number plate to my shiny, reconditioned engine that has been hiding under a blanket in the garage

i then set to work drilling out all the spot welds that need removing

n/s wing ( for some reason there wasn't any spot welds that we could see )

we then tidied up the loose loom wires that are still in the car so that they are out of the way when we start grinding, cutting and welding next week.
