I'll call sometime later in the week or this weekend - looking forward to comparing notes.

I didn't get any with my kit. To be honest it's something I hadn't given any thought to. I might be interested in yours. Can you give me a call sometime? 541-408-3317.

Sounds good.

I got my chassis back from the paint shop today. The frame was painted a real pretty metallic gun metal gray. I am very pleased with it. So I spent the rest of the day working on wiring. Got wires going all over and I haven't even started on the Hayabusa harness yet.

Now that the frame is painted I have continued adding stuff for good this time. I got the pedal assembly installed. Both clutch and brakes are bled and fully functional. I wrapped the turbo with K-Wool and installed the bulkhead, firewall, or what ever you want to call it. The biggest part has been wiring. The Dash-2 display I'm using takes quite a bit of wiring. I have power to it, but need to still wire in my boost sensor, water temp and oil pressure sensors, and RPM and wheel speed wiring.

I've been working all day on the Hayabusa wiring harness and can't get it figured out. I have power to the fuze block, the starter solitude, and the starter works, But I'm not getting power to the power comander fuel control that came with the turbo kit. Anyone got any ideas?

I found a company in CA. that does compition Hayabusa's and can make race only harnesse's and eliminate all the extra stuff. So I pulled my harness out today and am shipping it to them to be modified. Only trouble it's two weeks out to get it back.

Mike's the man - I'm sure he can help you out. Sorry I didn't mention him when we talked.

ah that's nice to hear, have you thought of a finishing date? I can tell you this is the best time of year to drive it...

Not really. I didn't get to it today, nor will I be able to tomorrow or thursday. So we'll just have to wait and see.

Finally had time to jet the wiring harness installed. I mounted all the electronics inside the interior just behind the driver's seat. Cranked it over and the darn thing actually runs. Sounds pretty good.

Good to hear! Now if Mike would get around to getting my engine back on the dyno and sending it back to me I'd have a fighting chance of getting it done some time this decade! I'm still waiting for Z-Cars on the last sway bar bits by the way - as soon as I get them, I'll be back in touch for the sale as we discussed.

Hey Birdman!

...I have a question for you - have you installed your gas pedal and throttle cable yet? If so, if you could tell me how much the throttle cable travel is from idel to what that would be great - I'm working on my aluminum footwell panels and am trying to figure out if I need to box out a section for more pedal travel or not.

Thanks!

Aric
