Maniflow ( mild steel ) twin box aint that quite on mine but seems to have more basse 1275 with lcb, i think that the rc40 was about the quitest with a decent sound and ive have a lot of sytems to keep down the noise, loudest was playmini it made the 6x4 slabs vibrate around the back of the house :)

yea it will be going on a metro 1300 with a maniflow stage 2 hi-flow LCB :) i remember my twin box being pretty quite, is the rc40 quieter then? this vid is my old twin box maniflow tell me if the rc40 was quieter, well and tell me if your maniflow was like this as well just so im sure its quieter or louder :D

Just one point to make, what manifold/lcb do you have or thinking on buying?
As I know from personal exprence a minispares rc40 will not match up with a minisport lcb, the bore sizes are of that they simply dont mate with each other.
so basicly if you want a minisport system stick with a mini sport lcb if you want it to fit. or if you chose the rc40/mainflow systems you can use either minispares or mainflow lcbs without too much problems.

The Superflow is just Minisports, equivalent of the RC40. Why buy a copy when you could get the original.
A maniflow twin box system is louder than a twin box RC40 and likewise for the single box versions.

so the twin box rc40 is quieter than the twin box maniflow?
well the only reason i was going for a maniflow over the rc40 is because it says you have to cut some of the end of the pipe to make it fit onto a LCB

The only reason why you have to cut the rc40 is because its designed for a freeflow mainfold. If your fitting it to an lcb, its not that hard to chop 2 iches off the link pipe or I think you can get a shorter verson that doesn't.

What do they do when they fit 'em to van's estates pick up.................ie commercials.
Plus the RC40 was around a long time before the freeflow............

You could try asking minispares them selfs, but I can only go by experience and what I've been told.

As for the commercial system it would have to be cut do at both ends, but why bother when you can buy one made for the saloon anyways.

First of don't need to ask minispares.
Why the hell would you cut an exhaust down for the commercials, they are longer than the saloons.............. :withstupid:

Well if you already know everything, why be a smart arse and ask questions.

the rc40 pipe you have too cut off a couple of inches to suit a LCB if you have a freeflow one (i.e. one without a y piece etc) you dont need to cut the end off.

getting this tomorrow, http://www.minispare...ty=pb&pid=38404

what a price! i must say!
need to get rid of mine now
