going down tomorrow to pull her out of garage and find any numbers i can off her and loads of pics off very rusty floors lol just one think is there anyway you can tell an age of an engine via the number

Just a quick update there's good news and bad news ill give you had new which is i have to go Ireland tomorrow till Sunday and that's bad because I've found the vin plate stamped in the scuttle under all the paint so Monday morning ill be on the phone getting my heritage certicate im so happy its unreal

Thanks be never been so happy to find a few letters and numbers lol and no pics Unfortantly as it windy to get everythink outer garage and van at back so clinbedbover everythink and started going mad with sand paper as i could feel somethink under the scuttle rail lol

take pics as you rub as you may rub the numbers away, then at least you'll have proof the numbers were there, I now just hope somebody tries to register the van with the plates they got, will be watching this topic to check on progress

just outer interest the vin number looks like it begins with a x or star shape and after that its saxx so would it be a star to show the start of the number or would it be an x

ive already got the numbers ect just the start and finsh look like stars so im bit confused lol
