This is a good site to start at to get the paint codes, but I'm afraid I don't have details of Pre '80 vehicle trim specifications, however, I believe that GT's were available in all colours...

For example, I've seen, black, pea green, red, white (even with a brown vinyl roof), poo brown, sandy brown, bright yellow.... I don't seem to recall any metallic ones.

im not really interested in the metallics, the reason i am trying to find out about all of the colours is because i just brought one yesterday and it needs a respray and is a bit of a project to do over the winter. I believe that the colour it is at the moment is 'Sandglow' but i have done some research and haven't been able to find it as a genuine mini colour.

Thanks for your help though ^ :D

Josh

Sand Glow was used in the late 1970's. It's a kind of light tan colour with the paint code BLVC 63. It is included in the browns on the web site in your post.

What year is your 1275GT? This will help identify which yellow your car could be as there are 3 or 4 different yellows that were used.

Its a '75 if i can remember rightly, it has been resprayed this yellow colour, originally it was blue. the reason i want to respray is because the paint job on it at the moment isnt the best, i think this was down to bad prep.
