Being a Sucker for all things Gadgety I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a good digital dash. I will be making a new dash which will sit ever so slightly forward as the original dash squashes the stereo and does not sit properly.

I've had a quick look at the motogadget dials which look pretty good but I haven't had time to take a proper look elsewhere.

Any recommendations?

Another question on digi dashes (sorry for the hi-jack), do you need to change any of the sensors it have a Honda S2000 style rev counter, digi speedo fuel and coolant temp??

search for a thread i started a few months ago. theres a link on there for digital gauges and you can read about someone who has been trying to install them.

as a quick run down, extra gauges like oil pressure, voltmeter etc... arn't a problem as they are supplied with there own senders, rev counter also not a problem.

the problems come with the speedo, and fuel sender, you might need to install a new sender in the fuel tank, i'm not sure about the speedo cable but i'm sure theres a way to do it.

Also you need to wire up bulbs for indicator lights, full beams, etc...

I don't know about honda gauges, you'll need to find out what kind of senders honda's use.

Edit: clicky here is the link for minimanshanes thread about wiring up the gauges.

Also check out:

Digital Display

I quite like these they also do a steering wheel mount but I would prefer it inthe dash itself, bit less F1 wannabe

to be honest my advice is to forget about the s2000 dash cluster as someone on the crx forums has spent nearly 2 years de-coding one so it'll work with a b series honda engine. Now imagaine how much work to get it into a mini with an a series!

I have the GTE digital dash in my mini since 2003.
Adaptation was built by VDO germany.
Some of you saw this dash at the Nürburgring run 2005.
I'm looking for a pic.
Kind regards
Bobo
