
Snap On Tools Wanted.

I have to say the Halfords pro stuff is very good however for ractchets and ratchet rings you cannot beat Snap on and Blue point. Kennedy and Cromwell do some good quality tools as well.
I use a combination of all of the above plus other more specialized items in the Aviation industry.

Proxxon are also very good but quite pricey too!
I have one of their 1/4" drive mini socket sets i bought in Germany in the early 90's and is still going strong. Metric naturally.

I will say the Clarke contractor stuff is a lot stronger and better built than the Halfords boxes. My son bought me a Halfords roll cab and to be honest its not all that good. Certainly not good enough for me to use at work where i use a Kennedy roll cab and old Clarke Heavy duty top box and bloody hell it is heavy.
I meant the ratchets!!

Neil, if i may ask is it true that snap on tool are the only tool allowed to work on aircraft??
