Hi Clifford. Really sorry to be so late in getting back to you mate. I Bought my pro tech coilovers from hudderfield minis. They got a new name now but anyways here is the link http://www.minispare...&sub_cat_id=184 I did not buy the rear beam from them though as i didnt think it was strong enough for my rally aplication. I bought my rear beam from TDK Racing. Its a very strong and solid beam and david was very helpful with any queries i had. I would recomend you strengthen the mounting points of the coilovers though mate as the shell of a mini was never designed to take the impact, thats what the subframes where for so know that you will need to make modification if you want to be safe in you mini.

Hi Guys its about time i updated this thread i think. I have been really busy on the car for the last few weeks but i dont really have much to show for it lol I think most of that is due to my arch nemesis "MR ELECTRICITY"!! lol I dont know why i just hate everything about electrics. Anyways thats my little rant over with and here are some pics of my progress so far

I made i nice little titanium bracket for my Brake Bia valve

Fitted my Poly Carb Window to the passenger side door

Ok so thats not all, I've also Been sanding back my boot, Driver side door and my front end ready to be final painted. Dont have any pics of that though. I've Also Stripped down my webber 45 and changed all the gaskets, new jets and placed bigger chalks suitible for the engine. I dont really have anything to show for the wiring as i basically been patching up the old loom and making up some relayes for the fuel pump, air horn and electric fan. Another thing i hate about electrics lol u can spend hours and hours with naff all to show for it :P

Here are some pics of the progress

Your rally car is looking very nice, it's nice to look over what you have done and how you have done it, it gives me ideas :)

Have you competed in Tarmac rallies before? You should come over to jersey and compete in our local Tarmac rally, nice tight twisty roads with night stages, I can't wait.

Cheers

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

No I've watched many tarmac rallies but never been fortunate to compete in one but that is my plan. Im hoping to get it finished in a few weeks but i cant see me being able to rally it this year :( I've gone and proposed to my girlfriend so there is bloody wedding talks all the time now haha. Im hoping to just have some fun this year and then maybe compete next year :) I've been keeping an eye on your thread too :) Its looking very nice!

It was supposed to say " sorry to here about your family problems but im glad to see the mini is getting back on track :)"
