Oh ok you have a fresh start then :proud: ! You should consider cutting a bit out of the inner arches aswel then to avoid serious wheel rubbing and to go lower.

Personally I wouldn't go for 13x8 as it will put a lot of stress on the balljoints (people already complain about that issue when using 13x7 wheels), second it is a pain in the ass to drive/steer such wheels on a mini especially in the front, third don't use them if your mini does not have a bit of power (for instance a standard 1000cc engine) cause it will only slow it more down because of the resistance of the wheels and tyres.

These are the minis I was talking about :

Setup last mini :

Front: 13x7J With Michelin 145/55R13 Tyre
Back: 13x8J With Rockstone 165/55R13 Tyre

Front: Hi-low, gaz shocks, lower arm, camber set and adapt themselves much
Back: Hi-low, gaz shocks, camber set and adapt themselves much

Here are 13x8 rota wheels on a classic, doesn't look right in my opinion :

13x7 will fit the sportspack arches perfectly (without a stretched tyre haven't seen one with a 13x7 stretched tyre yet) :

And everyone on this forum knows I'm a big fan of 10x7 wheels :shy:  :

i love 10x7 too, but never found one here.. normally the setup for 13 is 13x7 with et+10. which is not deep enough for the dish.. if i bought from mini spares, the shipping cost will be huge.. is there any 10x7 like the last pic that is for sale?
