I was having a look round that green mini at retro rides gathering. Really liked the low profile 10's it was running but its seems they were trailer tyres. Not sure how safe that is.

I think they are quad tyre's, but still.

Yes they come like that the mojo's but please never use golf cart tyres on a mini, our tyres are already pretty cheap compared to 16 -18 inch low profile rubber. Use the yokohamas instead, a mini is the only car that suits "balloon tyres" in my opinion like the 165/70/10 yokohama's, it gives the go cart look.

This discussion has came up a lot and it will be discussed again when I write this but yes you can use most (read : NOT all) golf cart wheels with right pcd on a mini, in my opinion they are just mass produced strong alu wheels (sometimes airplane material) made in china that can be used for multiple purposes. There are not a lot of vehicles that fit 10 inch wheels so thats why they are mostly sold as golf cart wheels. I repeat this is my own opinion, a reasonable number of people have tried them and had no problems.

The mc nally wheels fitted on the green mini are not produced anymore but you can get a similar (very euro-style) design at Force Racing Wheels.

Ive recently dropped my rear by 2 inches and of course it rubs like a *******. Is there anyway of getting around it, because obviously the rear cant be cut out like the front. HELP?

Actually, it can :)

Tubbing the rear removes the outside edge of the arch (the bit that's lower than the rest), replacing it with a flat piece of steel. Then you can have your arches hang past that edge to allow some suspension movement and retain a slammed look... ish.

For the most part it seems if you're running real low, you don't want to be running real fast though so the suspension doesn't have to work as hard.
