Excuse the rig!

Where did you get said rig?

Looks like a good setup.

It's cooler to just use your low car and not give a flying f***
Out lass's dads camper scrapes its exhaust and bumpers gettin up the dropped curb into his drive... but why should he care? It looks good and that's what it's about. He hasn't taken the easy way out

The easy way out???? ok just read this then and tell me if it is an easy way out to make a low riding car functional, http://www.stancewor...ead.php?t=10970 possibly one of the best builds to date of a very famous car

The first page and he lowers it on coil overs, he smashes the bottom all the time then fits air ride, therefore the easy way out, Can't see what your point is here?

Lovely mini, force racing wheels i think

i dont think theyre force racing wheels. FR ones have four studs on display, i think these may just have a screw on centre cap like the Ray's Cal Choppy's

For more info : http://www.bamdltd.co.uk/#

They are plastic and custom build to fit a 10-16 inch wheel. Cheap alternative if you have 13x7 / 13x8 ultralites or so.

Imagine them on a 10x6 / 10x7 wheel and they will look like a banded steel.

Not sure about the brake cooling though....

You can buy them for around £1000... Specialist automotive photography kit. We've just got one this week for the business - will post up pics - some of the engineery types on here could make one easy enough!

Cool, cheers.

I've found a Manfrotto suction mount for £105 which looks quite good for general use. A proper extended set up would be cool though.

Well, you need another two manfrotto suction mounts, and 4m of LIGHT aluminium pole - plus a manfrotto magic 900deg head! Then some wire, a remote shutter, Kee clamps, and a few bits and bobs - I'll find you a guide if you're interested!

£1000?! Christ, someones getting ripped off!

Rigs can be bought/made for WAY less than £1000. Hell, mine has barely cost me £200 (Not including the lens). I can build you a 14ft(optimum length) or 15/16ft boom for about £150

Just sat and read throug this entire thread again, an still can't believe people on the mini scene don't know what a good stance is. It's not about just lowering your car, it's about modifying it to get your car sitting well on (or over) its wheels.

Oh and to the people out there Who were still arguing about bags and air ride etc. you can use a low car every day, just some people aren't hard core enough to do it. If you want to live the low lifestyle, at least do it properly. What's cool about taking the easy way out? Instead of just dealing with it

I don't really understand your last point...

So what you're saying is that bags are the easy way out? Have you ever looked into how Air bags are fitted/work? Seems like a whole lot of trouble to go through for the "Easy way out".
