This car is owned and built by someone in Germany, it featured in a mini mag a while ago.
The arches are the same as what I used on mine, silver bullet arches, they were used in the German market sport packs. I modified mine to suit the size of wheel I have and so that the rear ones wrap around the valance.
The wheels are 10x7 Potenza's

Here's mine

Bit of sailors leg going on there with that door though. Fairly easy to sort.

My Mini (recently got it back on the road following a six year resto!!). Sits on 5 x 10 Wellers which give it a bit of a beefier look than the standard wheels.

I do apologise - I just went back to the first post in this thread and now understand that its all about 'How Low can You Go'.

It looks super IMHO. Great colour too and very purposeful with those wheels. A true retro Mini. Well done.

Many thanks Cooperman, humbling praise indeed which makes all the effort worth while. The car was originally Blue and I spotted this colour scheme at Beaulie about 3-4 years ago and decided that's how I wanted it. The wheels were an accident, I was looking for tyres on ebay and ended up with a couple of Weller wheels. Loved them so much I put a set together.

The colours scheme makes the car look a lot older than the 1982 that it is?

The 1964 Morris 850 I'm currently restoring is that colour and my wife had two that colour in the late 1960's, one having an MG1100 engine.
Yours looks very 'retro' indeed.

Lowered looks great if done right, but 'stance' should be about if a car looks right- and that car does. It suits how it looks and should not be subject to someone else's idea of the perfect ride height ;D

Stance just means the way a person or thing stands or is positioned, or the view a person takes on a subject. Thus in this context ito doesn't mean a lower ride height, it simply means the position in which the car is set up. It can be a low stance or a standard stance or a high stance (to cope with bumpy roads, for example).
The stance of JonnyAlpha's car is slightly high which makes it look purposeful and ready for a journey on average roads.
It looks excellent especially with the wide steel wheels.
