A small update; excuse the pictures they aren't ones I've taken so the cars orientation isn't of my choice, but hopefully you get the idea.

This is everything I hate in a mini. Body kits, big wheels and a non mini engine but holy crap this is a stunning car haha! If it was mine (but its not so feel free to tell me to shut my face) I would get that gap for the front number plate smoothed off if your getting the front repainted.

Ummm. Thanks I think! ;-)

Unfortunately that's the only logical place for a number plate to go so the recess has to stay; I could remove but the number plate wouldn't have a very large surface to stick too.

That said I've got an insert that matches the recess and bumper profile which can be fitted when the number plate isn't to discuise it a bit; It just wasn't finished in time for players

What about getting a motorised retractable number plate. That way you could have a smooth bumper and then retract the plate at shows?
Cost about 120 I think. Last time I checked

Don't know about this one, but there is a slightly tidier version racing in New Zealand.

Indeed it is and unfortunately said front is in need of attention!! The carbon mini in front spat oil all over it upon leaving which has stained the matte paint so it needs a respray! I wasn't exactly happy Saturday afternoon upon seeing it that's for sure.

Is that Lee Billings 'carbon' mini? This thing?

That's it. Nice looking mini and he's done a lot to it (nice guy too), just a shame what happened did. Think it might have had underlying problems as heard it needed to be towed home, but don't know the full ins and outs.

Megamini_jb:- think he's got a build thread on turbo minis. Don't think he's on here as when we were talking he mentioned that forum.

He hasn't done anything to it, he pays someone else to. He's got a build on TM but don't believe his weight claims because they are fasle. Hope you sent him the bill anyway.

I would have loved to, but think I already know the answer to that one! Not really sure where you'd stand on something like that anyway. Didn't realise it was a bought car. Still looked pretty sweet. Might have to join up on TM and have a read of his thread.
