I'm still tinkering with mine, this is about as low as it will go, raising rear shock towers up to gain that last 2", but there is something holding me up 1/2". Will check it out this weekend. Then I got to focus on getting the front done. Still thinking raising the front subframe is the way forward, but I won't have time for that this season with everything else going on.... getting closer though!

@meetthespeakers Awesome progress !

@therest (haha) The blue one is excellent, it doesn't get any better than that ! Looks a bit like Rick's old mini but on 10's :D.

This is really hard! The colour on both of those cars is very similar to mine, and I've got to make the decision whether to stick with 12's or go with 10's.

In the words of Ron Burgundy. " I am in a pickle"

@driezzie that blue 1 on 13's looks really good. would love to see some more of it.

Could it be the handbrake cable?

Could it be the handbrake cable?

It ended up being the shock tower, shock was collapsed all the way, after I made the new tower she went all the way down. I can see that the brake pipe connection on the trailing arm would also be a limiting factor, but the car is all the way down at this point. Now on to the front! I put more pics in my build thread.

I noticed that the lowered GAZ shocks are no longer available at Minisport (I do all my mini shopping online). Most people used them because they were one of the shortest shocks, is a lowered Koni or lowered AVO the same ? My sportspack has standard red Koni's but those are too long in combination with hi-lo's.
