Yes they look like overtaking mirrors, as oppose to proper door mirrors.

they look a bit lower down than the seam, could they be attached to the door frame?

I tried to put my overtaking mirror on the door frame but it didn't fit.

I think they could possibly be used as proper mirrors...

was thinking that! they are a lot easier to fit than normal mirrors
