well the mini is garaged and going for resto on saturday, meanwhile i got myself a standard mk3 golf as a run around... 1.4l nothing special




then i may have bought some coilovers....

Might have to raise it up a hair for the weekend cruise with 2 passengers. The front wheels are a bit burried in the arch because I have not converted to disc still. Maybe Friday, they have been sitting in the box, then maybe a 1/4" spacer. Took a little slice out of the right rear tire on Friday on a test run. Need just a little more camber to clear the fender, but I am maxed out on the MS camber brackets... Wonder if I should file the hole to get just a little more. Anyway, progress is progress.

Love that stance, hopefully mine will be looking like this soon, but being in London have loads of speed humps

Speaking of tuck, I bought a mk2 golf recently and it was advertised with no wheels, luckily he sorted me out a set as a stop gap and to get me home, 13" polo steelies. But I quite like them, I love tuck


I'm off outside soon to do a few bits on it so I'll get some better pictures. It's very low

Check out my build thread for more pictures. The seats came out of my saloon, I never touched them, not sure if they were stock, or someone did something with them years ago. Was gonna do all black, but my wife loves it, and I have grown to really like them since they are different.
